This policy explains what information Social Media Studio ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website or purchase the Social Media Studio desktop application, and how that information is used.
1. Information we collect
- Order information. When you purchase Social Media Studio, the payment is processed by Dodo Payments, our payment processor. We receive your email address and the details of your order (product, date, payment status) so that we can deliver the app installer and license key to you.
- Payment details. We never see or store your card number. All card data is handled directly by Dodo Payments on their secure checkout page.
- Support emails. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address so that we can answer you.
- Website logs. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard technical data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) to serve and protect the site.
2. What the desktop app collects
The Social Media Studio desktop application stores your social account connections, scheduled posts, and analytics data locally on your computer. This data is not uploaded to us. When you publish a post, the app communicates directly with the social network you have connected, using the authorization you granted through that network's official sign-in flow.
3. How we use information
- To deliver the application installer and license key to your email address after purchase
- To provide customer support and process refund requests
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate: Dodo Payments (payment processing) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Each processes data under their own privacy policies.
5. Retention
We keep order and support records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet accounting and legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
